  an Annoying and Romantic History: a Summary
  
  ash lived a lonely and simple life, which he preferred, at 18. he met a demigirl who he was romantically involved with for 7 months, before they ran away to live in las vegas. he figured that was fair, since he was a boring person. a couple months later, he met a boy who frequented his flower shop. they hit it off and went out for drinks a couple times, although ash was technically underage, but it turned out the boy had a crush on ash's coworker and was using him to get to her. six months after that, he entered a long-term relationship with a very pretty nonbinary person, who he dated for a year and a half. they broke up with him on his 20th birthday because they had decided to go to college in another country. ash swore off relationships until he unwittingly ran into a demon at age 21, who he mistook for a homeless man. he let the demon stay in his home and unfortunately began to fall in love with him. the demon had a son that also came to live with them, and although ash didn't generally like kids, he decided to take care of this one to make the demon dad happy.
